The We R Indie & Indiegrrl International Music Conference is an international gathering of independent song writers and musicians for the purposes of attending workshops and panels geared toward entrepreneurial development, networking with other music industry professionals, and showcasing opportunities. The event also features a vendor exhibit and a songwriter showdown competition of 30 finalists from around the world. This event is quickly becoming known among songwriters as the "Songwriter Family Reunion" with a warm and accepting networking environment of artists willing to share experiences on what works in their careers and career developing industry professionals giving valuable consultations. This conference is a gathering of minds looking at how to develop an Indie career and learning from each other and enjoying the process.
